Job Summary
The Physiotherapist will be responsible for assessing patients' physical conditions, diagnosing movement and functional issues, and developing individualized treatment plans. This role involves utilizing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and assistive devices to improve patients' strength, mobility, and overall functional independence. The Physiotherapist will work collaboratively with other departments to provide integrated care and contribute to enhancing patients' quality of life.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical conditions to diagnose movement and functional issues.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, pain management modalities, and assistive device training to improve patients' physical function.
- Collaborate with orthopedic and clinical departments to provide integrated care.
- Refer patients to specialized facilities or higher-level hospitals when necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient treatment records.
- Ensure proper maintenance of physiotherapy equipment and advocate for necessary resources.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma in Physiotherapy from a reputable institution.
- At least 2 years of experience working in a hospital or busy health facility.
- Current Certificate of Practice from the Physiotherapy Council of Kenya (PCK).
- Excellent use of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Good communication skills (written and oral) and etiquette.
- Customer-focused and willing to go the extra mile.
