REQUIREMENTS
Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery, Clinical Medicine and Community Health, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Certificate of registration from the Clinical Officers Council.
Valid professional practice license from the Clinical Officers Council.
Proven proficiency in computer applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Taking detailed patient histories, conducting examinations, and diagnosing common ailments.
Ordering and interpreting laboratory and imaging investigations to guide clinical decisions.
Treating patients in outpatient and inpatient facilities.
Collaborating with other health workers to provide comprehensive community healthcare.
Guiding and counseling patients, clients, and staff on critical health issues.
Sensitizing the community on preventive and promotive health measures.
Performing surgical procedures according to training and clinical skills.
Collecting and compiling accurate clinical data and preparing medico-legal briefs.
