REQUIREMENTS
Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing, Kenya Registered Nursing, Kenya Registered Midwifery, Kenya Registered Nursing/Midwifery, or Kenya Registered Nursing/Mental Health and Psychiatry from a recognized institutio
n. Valid Registration Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya.
Valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya.
Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assessing, planning, and implementing comprehensive nursing interventions to improve patient outcomes.
Providing high-quality healthcare services, including IMCI, immunization, PMTCT, ante-natal care, and delivery.
Delivering essential health education and counseling to patients, clients, and the community based on identified health needs.
Referring patients and clients to appropriate specialists or facilities when necessary.
Facilitating seamless patient admissions and initiating thorough discharge planning.
Maintaining accurate, detailed records of patients’ health conditions and care provided.
Ensuring a consistently tidy, safe, and professional clinical environment.
Collecting and compiling vital health data for reporting and planning purposes.
