REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing, Kenya Registered Nursing, Kenya Registered Midwifery, Kenya Registered Nursing/Midwifery, or Kenya Registered Nursing/Mental Health and Psychiatry from a recognized institution.

  • Valid Registration Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya.

  • Valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya.

  • Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assessing, planning, and implementing comprehensive nursing interventions to improve patient outcomes.

  • Providing high-quality healthcare services, including IMCI, immunization, PMTCT, ante-natal care, and delivery.

  • Delivering essential health education and counseling to patients, clients, and the community based on identified health needs.

  • Referring patients and clients to appropriate specialists or facilities when necessary.

  • Facilitating seamless patient admissions and initiating thorough discharge planning.

  • Maintaining accurate, detailed records of patients’ health conditions and care provided.

  • Ensuring a consistently tidy, safe, and professional clinical environment.

  • Collecting and compiling vital health data for reporting and planning purposes.
