Job Summary
Starehe Girls' Centre is seeking a qualified and caring Female School Clinician/Nurse to join their team for a three-month maternity relief contract. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional healthcare services to students, oversee the school clinic, and promote a healthy learning environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide essential healthcare services, including emergency care, minor illness treatment, and first aid.
- Conduct student health assessments, administer vaccines, and maintain updated medical records.
- Monitor and manage chronic illnesses such as asthma and allergies, ensuring appropriate medication is administered.
- Collaborate with parents and staff to handle referrals and student health concerns.
- Implement health education and wellness programs for students and staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and health regulations within the school.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya or an equivalent regulatory body.
- Valid practicing license.
- Diploma in Nursing or Clinical Medicine.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical or nursing practice.
- Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability within a school setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a school or residential institution.
- Background in adolescent health.
- Knowledge of health education program design.
