Teaching Positions
1. Associate Professor (Nursing and Midwifery) – Grade AC 14

Positions: 1
Job Summary:
The Associate Professor will oversee and lead the design, development, planning, and delivery of academic programs, research, and revenue-generating activities within the university.
Requirements:
Doctorate degree in a relevant field from a recognized university.
Minimum three (3) years teaching experience as a Senior Lecturer.
At least five (5) publications in refereed journals.
Successful supervision of at least four (4) postgraduate students (one must be Ph.D.).
Contribution to university life, including mentoring and research activities.
Registration with a relevant professional body (if applicable).
Evidence of attracting research funding.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Teach and assess undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Supervise student dissertations and theses.
Conduct research and attract funding.
Provide mentorship and community service.
Participate in university administration.

2. Lecturer (Community Health Nursing) – Grade AC 12

Requirements:
Ph.D. in a relevant field (or Master's degree in exceptional cases).
Minimum three (3) years of teaching experience at a university or industry level.
At least three (3) publications in refereed journals.
Registration with a relevant professional body.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Teach and assess courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Supervise student projects, dissertations, and theses.
Develop and review curricula.
Conduct research and community service.
Participate in university administration.

Technologist Positions
4. Clinical Instructor – Grade AD 9

Positions: 1
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Two (2) years of experience as a Clinical Instructor or Nurse (post-internship).
Valid practicing license and membership with a relevant professional body.
Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare and conduct practical nursing sessions.
Supervise students in clinical placements.
Maintain inventory of medical equipment and supplies.
Enforce laboratory safety regulations.
Assist in student assessments and research activities.

5. Senior Laboratory Technologist (Bio-Medical Sciences) – Grade AD 9

Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from a recognized institution.
Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Laboratory Technologist.
Valid practicing license and membership with a professional body.

Maintain laboratory safety and hygiene.
Assist in research and technical training.

6. Finance Officer – Grade AD 15

Positions: 1
Terms: 5-year renewable contract
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting/Finance) or equivalent.
Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
CPA (K) certification and ICPAK membership.
Minimum ten (10) years of relevant work experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee financial operations and budget planning.
Provide financial reports and strategic advice.
Ensure compliance with financial laws and regulations.
Liaise with auditors and external stakeholders.
Implement financial policies and investment strategies.
