Role Summary
Tranquil Med Center is seeking Patient Attendants responsible for assisting patients with daily personal care needs, supporting clinical staff, and ensuring a clean, safe, and dignified environment crucial for patient recovery and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with hygiene, feeding, mobility, and other daily care activities.
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients under supervision.
- Ensure patients are clean, comfortable, and treated with dignity at all times.
- Help transport patients within the hospital for therapy, tests, or discharge.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in patient care areas.
- Report any changes in patient condition or behavior to nursing staff.
- Support hospital protocols for infection control and safety.
- Work closely with nurses and clinicians to provide holistic patient care.
Requirements
- Certificate in Health Support Services, Home Care, Nursing Aide, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a hospital, mental health facility, or caregiving setting.
- Basic knowledge of patient hygiene and care procedures.
- Compassionate, patient, and emotionally resilient.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and under minimal supervision.
