Job Summary
Mount Kenya University is seeking a diligent Lift Operator to ensure the comfort and safety of passengers using the university's lifts. The role involves operating the lift, maintaining safety standards, and implementing emergency procedures as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure the comfort and safety of passengers loading the lift.
- Slow or stop the lift as necessary to ensure passenger safety.
- Maintain load and unload ramps and areas
around the lift. - Identify potential hazards and report them immediately.
- Be familiar with all policies, procedures, and rules regarding operating
the lift. - Implement emergency procedures when necessary.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Certificate in Lift Operations from a recognized academic institution.
- Valid KCSE Certificate.
- 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
