Job Summary
Equip Africa Institute is seeking dedicated Clinical Medicine and Surgery Trainers to participate in the development, instruction, and curriculum delivery for clinical medicine and surgery programs. The role involves providing hands-on training, supervising students, and contributing to the advancement of medical education.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate in the development, instruction, and curriculum delivery of clinical medicine and surgery programs.
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical training sessions.
- Provide hands-on training in clinical skills, including diagnostic procedures, patient examinations, and surgical techniques.
- Supervise and guide students in clinical settings, ensuring they acquire essential skills safely and effectively.
- Organize and oversee clinical rotations in hospitals and clinics, coordinating student placements.
- Evaluate students’ progress through exams, assignments, and practical assessments.
- Act as a mentor to students, providing academic, career, and personal guidance.
- Ensure program compliance with regulatory standards.
- Engage in research activities to contribute to medical education and clinical practice.
- Participate in departmental meetings and activities that foster departmental growth.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Medicine, or a related healthcare field.
- Practicing license from Clinical Officers Council.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical practice.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in a university or tertiary institution setting.
