HENNET mission was to create a common network and co ordination between health based NGOs in Kenya in order to improve health efficiency as well as co ordination and advocacy among it's members. As of 2024 HENNET has a got a membership of over 112 members comprising international NGOs and FBOs and it's services are in over 47 Counties now.

Job Description
Health NGOs Network is seeking to hire competent individuals to help it achieve it's mission  and vision and make it empower the Kenyan health system society more appropriately. The candidate will participate in a project Titled: Advocacy for Immunization and primary Health Care in Kenya Qualifications: Masters degree in Social Science, Health Economics or Public Health. Atleast 5 Years Experience in healthcare financing, public health expenditures. Knowledge on budget preparation. Knowledge on the WHO one health tool is a plus.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Duties and Responsibilities Fall in 4 Main Categories. Terms of Reference (TORs): You will provide strategic options for decision making and resource mobilization. Specific Objectives: Analyze perspective of immunization in Kenya. Analyze cost of immunization Analyze financing & gap at county and National Level Analyze vaccine distributorship chains Analyze process in updating EPI Schedule Develop a domestic mobilization strategy for immunization. Scope of Work: Analyze the impact economy on the immunization system Assess Government commitment to immunization. Analyze  challenges facing immunization. Cost analysis of immunization in Kenya Calculate total expenses of immunization in Kenya. Calculate recurrent expenditures in vaccination costs Calculate cost of investments for immunization. Calculate cost of immunization per child Calculate the distribution verse the need gaps at county level Calculate distribution of vaccines expenses Financing Immunization in Kenya Examine finance sources both national and county level between 2020/21 to 2024/25 Find the total funding in the said period find the financing gap Mobilization Strategy for efficient Immunization in Kenya. Assess financing system weakness Assess financing system strengths Assess resource mobilization strategy Assess Threats and Risks involved Deliverables Deliver finance report on immunization. Deliver report on immunization coverage in Kenya Deliver report on resource mobilization strategy deliver an executive summary on resource mobilization strategy.
