Job Summary
The Nutritionist at Pharmaplus will act as an in-house expert, providing personalized nutritional consultations and recommendations to clients. The role requires a candidate with a Diploma or Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, proven sales or customer service experience, and strong knowledge of dietary supplements. This position is perfect for someone who can combine scientific knowledge with retail acumen to educate customers and drive sales.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide personalized nutritional consultations to walk-in clients, helping them understand their dietary needs.
Recommend appropriate vitamins, minerals, and supplements based on customer needs and health goals.
Analyze client health metrics such as BMI, lipid profiles, and glucose levels to provide tailored product recommendations.
Analyze consumer behavior and purchasing patterns to refine sales tactics and improve customer engagement.
Educate customers on product benefits, proper usage, and safety to ensure they make informed choices.
Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure seamless and comprehensive customer service.
Monitor inventory and suggest new product lines based on market trends and customer demand.
Stay updated on the latest research in nutrition and supplements to provide evidence-based advice.
Research competitor offerings and pricing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Contribute to marketing initiatives by providing nutritional content for promotional materials.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma or Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.
Proven experience in sales or customer service (preferably in a pharmacy or health store).
Strong knowledge of dietary supplements, vitamins, and natural health products.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to simplify complex nutritional concepts for diverse audiences.
Passion for wellness and preventive health.
