Job Summary
The Pharmaceutical Technologist will be responsible for dispensing medications, managing pharmaceutical inventory, and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy in accordance with established standards and regulations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently based on prescriptions.
- Maintain accurate records of dispensed medications.
- Manage and maintain pharmaceutical inventory levels.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medications.
- Adhere to all regulations and guidelines set by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
- Assist in the procurement and restocking of pharmaceutical supplies.
- Provide information and advice on medications to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
- Utilize computer applications for pharmacy operations.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology.
- At least one (1) year of working experience in a hospital or pharmacy setup.
- Registered and with a valid license from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
- Proficient in computer applications.
