Job Summary
The Country Clinical Quality Manager will ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines, and regulatory standards. The role involves quality management, risk assessment, and supporting clinical teams in maintaining high standards in clinical research operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Implement the global Quality Management Plan and tailor it to local requirements.
- Oversee risk identification and assessment in clinical research projects.
- Provide support for corrective and preventive action planning and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance quality in project delivery.
- Support the development and execution of a Quality Management and Risk Management Program.
- Advise teams on GCP compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate and address quality issues and non-compliance.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance teams to manage compliance risks.
- Assist in regulatory audits and inspections.
- Act as the primary contact for Quality Assurance matters within the assigned region.
- Prepare and present quality reports and risk assessments to business lines.
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and corporate standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in a healthcare, life sciences, or clinical research-related field.
- Proven experience in clinical research, quality management, or pharmaceutical operations.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICH-GCP guidelines, and regulatory compliance.
- Understanding of drug development processes and Clinical Research Organization (CRO) operations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and clinical research software.
- Ability to travel within Kenya and the East African region.
- Fluency in English is required.
