JOB OVERVIEW

The Successful Nurse Candidate at this role will be mandated to serve as the team leader in the fore front of Eradicating HIV/AIDS in the Country as well as ensuring efficient and delivery of quality health services to the respective Patients.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Work Closely with the Clinical team in the CCC department to ensure quality services. Offer services in integrated healthcare services including CCC, CWC, FP and other Clinics. Be in full support of community outreach program Arrange for follow ups of defaulters on treatment & Care Arrange for continuous educational sessions in CCC Organize formation and management of patient support teams in CCC Assist and provide efficient & Excellent Nursing services to clients Attend and contribute to educational conferences Assist and act as the team lead in delivery and supervision of patient care Charts nursing documents as per the requirements and regulations Exercise sound judgment and decision making when delivering services Maintain extreme patient confidentiality as per the Nursing practice ethics. Administer drugs as per the prescription and treatment guidelines Perform simple nursing procedures as per the nursing practice scope and training level. Supervisor and co-ordinate services being offered by other healthcare assistants. Support and participate in provision of patient and family education.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Diploma in Nursing from a recognized medical training college. Registration certificate from Nursing Council of Kenya Minimum of 3 Years Experience. Previous Experience in managing HIV and TB Patients. Previous in leadership and building capacity experience.
