What the Program Offers

  • Cross-Departmental Rotations: Gain a holistic understanding of the hospitality ecosystem by rotating through guest services, human resources, risk management, and resort operations.

  • Multi-Property Exposure: Travel to and work within diverse Sarova properties, experiencing the distinct medical and operational demands of city hotels, beach resorts, and bush lodges.

  • Executive Mentorship: Receive direct one-on-one professional coaching from seasoned healthcare consultants and elite hospitality leaders.

  • Leadership Development: Build foundational skills in clinical budgeting, public health compliance, team leadership, crisis management, and occupational health safety (OSHA).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide preliminary clinical consultations, emergency first aid, and primary healthcare services to hotel staff and luxury lodge guests.

  • Actively participate in all operational, logistical, and management training modules across various hospitality units.

  • Support the implementation of hotel health and safety policies, wellness campaigns, and statutory hygiene inspections.

  • Coordinate with Group Human Resources to track staff medical logs, review medical insurance utility, and oversee occupational health metrics.

  • Assist in managing on-site clinic inventories, pharmaceutical supplies, and medical emergency evacuation protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery from a recognized and accredited training institution (e.g., KMTC or equivalent).

  • Must be fully Registered by the Clinical Officers Council (COC) of Kenya.

  • Possess a current, valid Practicing License and maintain active membership with a relevant professional body.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with world-class customer service etiquette.

  • Demonstrated leadership potential, strong analytical capabilities, and a natural drive to succeed in business.

  • Absolute flexibility to travel and relocate across various remote lodges and coastal resorts as required by the rotation matrix.

  • Ability to adapt swiftly and perform effectively within a progressive, high-velocity corporate environment.
