Job Summary
The Radiographer III will be responsible for receiving and identifying patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. This role involves performing basic radiography services, processing patient information, and ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and the public. The successful candidate will have a diploma in Radiography and a valid practicing license.
Duties & Responsibilities
Receive and accurately identify patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Provide basic diagnostic and therapeutic radiography services.
Process, verify, and maintain all information related to patients.
Care for and counsel patients and their guardians before, during, and after examinations.
Apply and enforce strict radiation safety measures to protect themselves, patients, and the public.
Perform routine quality control checks on all equipment.
Execute any other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned within the County Health Department.
Qualifications & Requirements
A Diploma in Radiography or Medical Imaging Sciences or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Proficiency in computer applications from a recognized institution.
Must be registered by a relevant regulatory body and hold a valid practicing license.
Relevant training in Sonography will be considered an added advantage.
A demonstrated understanding and commitment to the values and principles of the Kenyan Constitution, 2010.
Must satisfy the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
