Job Summary

The Clinical Supplies In-Charge will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of clinical supplies for the hospital, covering both pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical items. This critical role involves overseeing inventory planning, procurement, storage, and distribution to ensure availability, compliance, and cost-effectiveness at all times. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and proactive in maintaining the necessary supplies for world-class paediatric care.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end process of clinical supplies, including procurement, storage, and distribution.

  • Conduct comprehensive inventory planning for both pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical supplies.

  • Implement robust inventory control systems to prevent stockouts and minimize wastage.

  • Ensure all clinical supplies procured and utilized are fully compliant with relevant regulatory and quality standards.

  • Manage the storage facilities, ensuring optimal conditions for preserving the integrity and efficacy of supplies.

  • Lead the distribution of supplies to the main hospital and the network of 15 outpatient facilities efficiently.

  • Monitor expenditure and implement strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness in the supply chain.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all procurement and inventory movements.

  • Liaise with suppliers and procurement teams to negotiate favorable terms and timely delivery.

  • Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of clinical supplies.

  • Generate regular reports on inventory status, consumption trends, and financial performance for management review.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in healthcare courses, procurement, supply Chain Management, Pharmacy, or a relevant field.

  • Proven professional experience in clinical supply chain management within a reputable healthcare facility.

  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical products and their storage requirements.

  • Expertise in inventory planning, control, and management systems.

  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

  • Proficiency in relevant inventory management software and computer applications.
