Job Summary
The Clinical Supplies In-Charge will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of clinical supplies for the hospital, covering both pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical items. This critical role involves overseeing inventory planning, procurement, storage, and distribution to ensure availability, compliance, and cost-effectiveness at all times. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and proactive in maintaining the necessary supplies for world-class paediatric care.
Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the end-to-end process of clinical supplies, including procurement, storage, and distribution.
Conduct comprehensive inventory planning for both pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical supplies.
Implement robust inventory control systems to prevent stockouts and minimize wastage.
Ensure all clinical supplies procured and utilized are fully compliant with relevant regulatory and quality standards.
Manage the storage facilities, ensuring optimal conditions for preserving the integrity and efficacy of supplies.
Lead the distribution of supplies to the main hospital and the network of 15 outpatient facilities efficiently.
Monitor expenditure and implement strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness in the supply chain.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all procurement and inventory movements.
Liaise with suppliers and procurement teams to negotiate favorable terms and timely delivery.
Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of clinical supplies.
Generate regular reports on inventory status, consumption trends, and financial performance for management review.
Qualifications & Requirements
A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in healthcare courses, procurement, supply Chain Management, Pharmacy, or a relevant field.
Proven professional experience in clinical supply chain management within a reputable healthcare facility.
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical products and their storage requirements.
Expertise in inventory planning, control, and management systems.
High level of organization, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in relevant inventory management software and computer applications.
