Job Summary
The Waiter/Waitress will report to the Catering Manager and is expected to provide a consistently high level of service to the school's children, staff, and visitors. The role emphasizes providing genuine care and attention, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and upholding the school's core policies, especially those related to child protection and safeguarding.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide consistently high-quality service to children, staff, and visitors.
Be attentive to the needs and safety of children in the dining area.
Adhere to health code standards regarding food handling.
Ensure high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
Assist with arrangements for school events.
Participate in the cleaning and general upkeep of the school to maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment.
Uphold and follow all of Kenton College's key policies, particularly those related to Child Protection and Safeguarding.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Certificate in Food and Beverage Management from a recognized institution.
Minimum of three years’ work experience.
Fluency in English.
Superior food and beverage knowledge.
Ability to work with people from different national and cultural backgrounds.
A customer-oriented approach, demonstrating courtesy, tact, and integrity.
Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and work for eight hours each day.
Immaculate personal cleanliness and presentation.
