Job Summary
The Radiographer will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in Medical Imaging Sciences, be licensed and registered, and have a minimum of 2 years of experience. This role requires someone who is proficient with imaging equipment, detail-oriented, and passionate about ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Duties & Responsibilities
Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and ultrasound.
Ensure radiation protection standards are strictly followed for both patients and staff.
Prepare patients for imaging and explain procedures clearly to alleviate anxiety.
Maintain and calibrate radiology equipment regularly to ensure accurate results.
Accurately analyze images and assist doctors in their diagnosis.
Maintain a clean and safe environment in the radiology room.
Keep detailed and accurate records of all imaging procedures performed.
Collaborate with the medical team to ensure seamless patient care and diagnostic support.
Stay updated on the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Handle confidential patient information with discretion.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management.
Qualifications & Requirements
A Diploma or Degree in Medical Imaging Sciences from a recognized institution.
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a radiographer.
Must be licensed and registered with the relevant professional body.
Proficient in operating X-ray, ultrasound, and other imaging equipment.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
