Job Summary
The Nurse will be responsible for providing compassionate and skilled care to patients within a specialized outpatient setting. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with mandatory expertise in IVF and Operating Theatre (OT) procedures. They must be registered and licensed to practice nursing and be able to remain calm and focused in high-pressure environments.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in IVF procedures and provide specialized patient care.
Prepare and maintain a sterile environment and equipment for medical procedures.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Guide patients through their treatment plans with compassion and clarity.
Collaborate with the medical team to deliver seamless outpatient care.
Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition before, during, and after procedures.
Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
Educate patients on post-procedure care, medication schedules, and follow-up instructions.
Uphold strict infection control and safety standards.
Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
Assist in inventory management of medical supplies and equipment.
Support the medical team during emergency situations as required.
Maintain a professional and empathetic demeanor with all patients.
Qualifications & Requirements
A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
IVF and Operating Theatre (OT) experience is mandatory.
Must be registered and licensed to practice nursing by the relevant professional body.
The ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure environments.
A bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred but not required (implied by BA/BSc/HND qualification).
