Job Summary
The Dental Technician will be responsible for creating, repairing, and maintaining dental prosthetics and devices. These roles are open to candidates with a Diploma in Dental Technology and at least one year of experience. The successful candidates will be part of a caring team dedicated to putting patients first.
Duties & Responsibilities
Fabricate and repair dental appliances, including dentures, crowns, bridges, and braces.
Use a variety of materials, such as wax, plaster, plastics, and porcelain, to create dental prosthetics.
Interpret dental impressions and models to ensure accuracy in the fabrication process.
Collaborate closely with dentists and other dental professionals to meet patient-specific needs.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Manage inventory of dental materials and supplies.
Keep detailed records of all work performed and materials used.
Ensure all work meets the highest standards of quality and precision.
Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols in the laboratory.
Stay updated on new dental technologies and techniques.
Contribute to a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory environment.
Participate in continuous professional development and training.
Qualifications & Requirements
Qualification: Diploma in Dental Technology from a recognized institution.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a dental laboratory or clinic.
A deep commitment to patient-centered care.
