Job Summary
The Store Keeper will be responsible for managing the school's inventory, ensuring accurate record-keeping of stock, maintaining an organized store, and facilitating the efficient distribution of goods and supplies. This role requires a Kenyan citizen between 30-40 years of age with a relevant Diploma and a commitment to maintaining accurate and secure storage practices.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of all items entering and leaving the school store.
- Organize and arrange stock in a systematic and accessible manner.
- Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Receive and inspect deliveries, verifying the quantity and quality of goods against purchase orders.
- Issue supplies and materials to authorized personnel, maintaining proper documentation.
- Ensure the security of the store and prevent unauthorized access or loss of stock.
- Prepare and submit inventory reports as required.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or shortages in stock.
- Manage the disposal of obsolete or damaged items according to school procedures.
- Maintain a clean and orderly store environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely availability of necessary supplies.
- Assist in the procurement process by providing information on stock levels and needs.
- Adhere to the school's policies and procedures related to storekeeping.

Required Qualification and Competences
- Be a Kenyan citizen between 30-40 years of age.
- Education level: KCSE minimum Mean Grade C (Plain).

- Experience in storekeeping, warehousing, or inventory management will be an added advantage.
- Possess a valid certificate of Good Conduct from the Kenya Police or a Recommendation from the area chief.
