Job Summary
The Samburu County Public Service Board is inviting applications for the position of Physician. This vital role requires a medical professional specializing in internal medicine to provide advanced medical services, mentor junior staff, contribute to health policy development, and ensure strict adherence to medical protocols and standards within Samburu County's health facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide specialized medical services in internal medicine.
- Offer mentorship and guidance to Junior Medical Staff, fostering their professional growth.
- Participate actively in the development and implementation of Health Policies and Programs.
- Ensure adherence to Medical Protocols and Standards to uphold high-quality patient care.
Requirements for Appointment
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) Degree from a recognized Institution.
- Master's Degree in Internal Medicine or an equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
- Registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
- Valid Practicing License.
- At least three (3) years of relevant work experience post-qualification.
