Job Summary
The Samburu County Public Service Board is inviting applications from qualified individuals for the position of General Surgeon. This crucial role involves providing specialized clinical care, undertaking diagnoses and treatments, and performing surgeries across various health facilities within Samburu County. The successful candidate will also contribute to training and consulting, demonstrating strong professional competence and managerial capability.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Undertake general diagnosis, care, treatment, and rehabilitation of Patients.
- Carry out specialized Clinical care in surgical disciplines.
- Provide comprehensive Clinical services to Patients.
- Engage in training, consulting, and performing surgeries in various Health Facilities within the county.
Requirements for Appointment
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB.ChB) Degree.
- Master's Degree in the relevant field (e.g., Master of Medicine in Surgery).
- Certificate of Registration by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.
- Valid Practicing License.
- Certificate in Computer Application Skills.
- Demonstrated professional competence and managerial capability.
