Job Summary
The Nursing Officer III will be responsible for providing and planning essential nursing services at the Meru National Polytechnic Outpatient Clinic under the guidance and supervision of a Senior Officer. This role involves assessing patient needs, maintaining accurate health records, and managing drug and supply inventory.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Providing and meticulously planning comprehensive nursing services at the Polytechnic Outpatient Clinic to meet the healthcare needs of students and staff.
- Thoroughly assessing individual patient needs to determine the appropriate nursing services required.
- Accurately verifying and diligently maintaining information related to patients' health records, ensuring confidentiality and completeness.
- Keeping detailed and up-to-date records of all drugs and other essential medical supplies within the clinic.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must possess a Diploma in Nursing or an equivalent qualification from a recognized Training Institution.
- Must hold a valid Certificate of Registration from the Kenya Registered Nurse (KRN) or Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse (KRCHN).
- Must have a Certificate in Computer Application Skills, demonstrating proficiency in relevant software.
- Must be a Kenyan Citizen aged below 35 years.
