Job Summary
Equity Afia is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Officer to join their team in Garissa. This role requires a proficient doctor with a strong commitment to providing excellent clinical care. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients, ensuring high standards of medical practice and patient satisfaction within an affordable healthcare setting.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB or MBBS) from a recognized institution.
- Must be registered with and hold a valid license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
- At least one (1) year of post-internship clinical experience in either a public or private hospital.
- Must possess a Certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Proficient in computer applications (e.g., electronic health records, Microsoft Office Suite).
- Possess good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction and record-keeping.
- A strong commitment to providing high-quality, affordable, and accessible healthcare.
