Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care, administering treatments, and educating patients on health management, while adhering to professional standards and ethical guidelines.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication adherence, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe and clean environment.
- Administer Basic Life Support (BLS) in emergency situations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
- Participate in health promotion and community outreach programs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant nursing regulations and standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing (KRCHN).
- Registered and with a valid license from the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
- Certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- At least two (2) years of clinical working experience.
- Proficient in computer applications.
- Good communication skills.
