Job Summary
The Sales Executive will be responsible for managing sales, marketing, and distribution of products within the Western Region. This role involves building strong customer relationships, executing trade marketing strategies, and achieving profitable sales growth. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the FMCG industry and a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
Duties & Responsibilities
Build a strong route to market network and provide efficient customer service to attain sustainable, profitable sales volume growth.
Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing a daily work schedule to visit existing or potential sales outlets.
Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory.
Support the Brand Marketing process by identifying key opportunities in Listing and Activations.
Execute Trade Marketing Strategy across a portfolio of brands in consultation with the Marketing Manager and Sales Manager.
Implement and establish close working relationships with partners, Traders, and Retailers to gain high levels of trade support and loyalty.
Represent the company, acting in accordance with company business standards and managing financial activities in an ethical manner.
Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, and merchandising techniques.
Monitor and report on competitive activity, and document all pricing activities.
Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, and interests.
Keep management informed by submitting daily visit reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
Qualifications & Requirements
A University professional degree in Sales, Marketing, or another relevant field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Trade Marketing in the FMCG industry, with a preference for experience in food and beverages.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an outgoing personality.
A valid Driver’s License (DL) is a must.
The ability to prioritize and organize workloads independently when required.
The ability to problem-solve and "make things happen."
