Job Summary
The Lab Technician will be responsible for collecting, preparing, and analyzing patient samples. The roles are open to candidates with a Degree or Diploma in Lab Technology and between 1 and 3 years of experience. The successful candidates will be part of a caring team dedicated to accurate diagnostics and patient-first service.
Duties & Responsibilities
Collect, receive, and process patient samples, including blood, urine, and tissue.
Perform a variety of laboratory tests and analyses accurately and efficiently.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile work environment to prevent contamination.
Record and document all test results meticulously.
Ensure all tests and procedures adhere to established safety and quality control standards.
Prepare specimens for transportation to external laboratories when necessary.
Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure timely and accurate results.
Assist in inventory management of laboratory supplies.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and laboratory protocols.
Handle confidential patient information with discretion.
Qualifications & Requirements
Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Lab Technology from a recognized institution.
Experience: Between 1 and 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
A deep commitment to patient-centered care.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
High level of professionalism and integrity.
Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and instruments.
