About Hekima Place Inc. Trust
Founded in 2005 by U.S. native Kate Fletcher, Hekima Place is a safe, loving, and faith-based home for orphaned and vulnerable girls in Kenya. Located in Kiserian, an hour from Nairobi, Hekima Place provides comprehensive care, including nutritious meals, medical attention, counseling, and most importantly, quality education from primary through university levels. The organization's mission is to empower these girls to become independent, well-adjusted adults who can positively impact their communities and the world. Hekima Place also runs Hekima Hills Learning Centre, offering affordable education to both the girls in their care and children from the surrounding community.
