Job Summary

The Hospital Administrator/Healthcare Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a hospital branch. This role involves managing various hospital departments, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and optimizing the delivery of patient care. The successful candidate will maintain high standards of compliance and safety while focusing on improving patient outcomes.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital branch to ensure efficiency and high performance.

  • Manage hospital departments and ensure efficient resource allocation and utilization.

  • Optimize patient care delivery systems and ensure high-quality service standards.

  • Maintain and enforce high standards of compliance, safety, and regulatory adherence.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive operational improvements.

  • Manage hospital budgets, control costs, and work on revenue optimization strategies.

  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team, motivating them to achieve organizational goals.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with staff, patients, and external stakeholders.

  • Oversee and streamline administrative and clinical processes for maximum efficiency.

  • Address and resolve operational challenges and departmental conflicts in a timely manner.

  • Ensure all clinical and administrative staff are working together effectively to achieve common goals.

  • Regularly report on the hospital's performance, finances, and operational status to senior management.



Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Medicine and Surgery, Clinical Medicine, Nursing, Health Systems Management, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA) or Business Administration (MBA) is an added advantage.

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare administration or management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role in a hospital or healthcare setting.

  • Skills: Strong leadership, people management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of hospital operations, healthcare regulations, and clinical care delivery systems.

  • Financial Management: Proven track record of successfully managing budgets and driving operational improvements.

  • Teamwork: Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and working across various departments.

  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
