Job Summary
Rangechem Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to accurately prepare and dispense medications, manage pharmaceutical inventory, and support patient education and adherence to treatment. This role requires collaboration with pharmacists and healthcare staff to ensure safe medication use within the company's operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications according to prescriptions and established protocols.
- Manage and monitor pharmaceutical inventory, including stock levels, expiry dates, and proper storage.
- Support patient education and adherence to treatment, providing clear instructions and answering basic queries.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare staff to ensure safe and effective medication use.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.
- Adhere to all relevant pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma in Pharmacy.
- Registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
- Good knowledge of pharmacy law and practices in Kenya.
- At least one year of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Flexible to relocate (to Mombasa, as the job is located there).
