Job Summary
Hillside College is seeking a highly motivated, customer-oriented Call Centre Agent with a Medical and health Science background to drive student enrollments. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, promoting college courses, and assisting prospective students with enrollment inquiries.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally and efficiently.
- Provide detailed information about the college’s Medical & Health Science programs.
- Convert leads into student enrollments by effectively communicating course benefits.
- Meet and exceed a minimum number of outbound calls per day.
- Maintain and update customer databases with accurate records.
- Provide personalized customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints.
- Upsell and cross-sell relevant courses to potential students.
- Track, report, and escalate priority issues to the management team.
- Ensure excellent customer service to boost student enrollment and retention.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma in Medical & Health Sciences from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, marketing, or a similar role.
- Experience working in an academic institution is an added advantage.
- Exceptional communication, persuasion, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
- Goal-driven with a proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Proficiency in data entry and customer database management.
Salary & Compensation
- Ksh 10,000 retainer (activated upon meeting the set target).
- Ksh 1,500 commission for every 10+ student enrollments per month.
- Prorated payment structure for those who do not meet the minimum target.
