Job Overview
We are seeking a Human Resource Associate – Organizational Development to join our Human Resources Department. The successful candidate will support talent management, performance management, and capacity-building initiatives under the Aspire Programme, which includes management traineeship, graduate traineeship, and internships across East Africa. This role requires close collaboration with HR leadership to execute strategic talent development programs in line with global best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the closing of the performance cycle within defined timelines.
- Support the establishment of Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) for identified employees.
- Manage the recruitment cycle for capacity-building initiatives, including graduate and management trainees.
- Coordinate and execute onboarding, development, retention, and performance management for trainees and interns.
- Implement creative sourcing strategies to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Engage with department heads to determine talent needs and align recruitment goals.
- Facilitate Assessment Centre execution and candidate interviews.
- Extend job offers and negotiate employment terms for selected candidates.
- Oversee the onboarding, orientation, and rotation of trainees across departments.
- Monitor trainee performance and engagement, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Maintain records and statistics related to learning and development initiatives.
- Contribute to a positive and achievement-oriented work environment for all trainees.

Qualifications & Requirements
✔ Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
✔ Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources with a focus on talent management.
✔ Proven experience in recruitment, employee life-cycle management, and performance evaluation.
✔ Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills.
✔ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
✔ Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders.
✔ Proficiency in problem-solving and analytical decision-making.
✔ Prior experience in staffing projects and capacity-building programs is an added advantage.
