The University was established in the Year 2006 after a consultative engagement of the church leaders when they found a need to expand theological education due to expanding church population.

Job Overview

Adventist University of Africa is  seeking to recruit a driven, self-Motivated and result oriented to feel a vacancy for teaching  staff position for public health. Successful candidates should be available to start working from January 2025.

Duties And Responsibilities

The Successful Candidates will:

• Design teaching content and tutor both masters and doctoral programs.
• Supervisor all research projects for students at masters and doctoral programs.
• Collaborate with program leaders and curriculum experts to design an effective curriculum in the Public Health Sector.
• Research and publish researched journals and conferences.
• Participate in community services.
• Contribute in the growth and operations of postgraduate studies.
• Stay updated of current trends and technologies in the Public health field.

Qualifications

Interested Candidates should have the following:

• Phd degree in Public Health from a recognized University in Kenya.
• Knowledgable in Epidemiology and Biostatistics .
• A minimum of 3 years experience at the university level.
• Have done several several publications.
• Have a Minimum academic rank of senior lecturer with successful track record of research supervision.
• Have Team Management skills
• Have Leadership Skills
