Job Summary
The Physiotherapist will be a self-motivated clinician responsible for managing the medical center's physical rehabilitation wing. The role demands an all-around practitioner equally adept at supporting a child’s early developmental journey as they are managing adult trauma recovery. The incumbent will assess, diagnose, and treat diverse caseloads while ensuring strict compliance with internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and clinical audit benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
Holistic Rehabilitation: Autonomously assess, diagnose, formulate, and execute customized treatment plans for both pediatric and adult populations.
Clinical Breadth: Manage diverse conditions spanning musculoskeletal disorders, sports injuries, neurological conditions (such as cerebral palsy or stroke recovery), and post-trauma rehabilitation.
SOP & Quality Compliance: Maintain meticulous, highly transparent digital and physical patient records, progress charts, and clinical documentation in strict adherence to clear institutional SOPs.
Sustainable Program Innovation: Collaborate with management to brainstorm, design, and pilot community-focused, income-generating wellness initiatives to ensure the department’s long-term financial self-sustainability.
Knowledge Sharing: Participate actively in, and occasionally facilitate, scheduled internal medical training sessions, peer-reviews, and cross-departmental alignment meetings.
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized and accredited medical training institution (e.g., KMTC or equivalent).
Must hold a valid registration and a current, active Practicing License from the Physiotherapy Council of Kenya (PCK) for the current year.
Minimum of one to three (1–3) years of continuous clinical practice experience successfully operating within a busy hospital or medical center setup.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to connect effortlessly with young children, anxious parents, and adult patients alike.
Strong problem-solving skills, high self-motivation, and comfort working in a collaborative, faith-based corporate culture.
