Key Responsibilities
Expert Imaging: Perform and interpret a diverse range of ultrasound scans and general radiography procedures with high accuracy.
Clinical Excellence: Deliver prompt, high-quality reports and images to clinicians to facilitate timely patient diagnosis and treatment.
Patient-Centered Care: Guide patients through imaging procedures, addressing concerns and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Quality & Compliance: Adhere to imaging SOPs, radiation safety protocols, and regulatory standards while maintaining meticulous records.
Operational Integrity: Safely operate and calibrate advanced imaging equipment; manage consumables to ensure operational efficiency.
Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the broader clinical team and provide mentorship to junior staff or interns.
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Imaging Sciences, Radiography, or Sonography from a recognized institution.
Valid license and registration with the Radiation Protection Board or the Society of Radiographers in Kenya.
Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience in a busy hospital or specialized diagnostic center.
Demonstrated expertise in ultrasound scanning and image interpretation.
Proficiency in PACS systems and modern imaging software is essential.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
High ethical standards and a firm commitment to patient confidentiality.
