Requirements
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.
Successful completion of a one-year internship from a recognized institution.
Valid practicing license from the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.
Must meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya on leadership and integrity.
Responsibilities
Providing comprehensive medical care, including physical examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in county health facilities.
Performing emergency and elective surgical procedures as per clinical competency and guidelines.
Leading and supervising multi-disciplinary clinical teams to ensure coordinated patient care and adherence to medical standards.
Managing health data and participating in community health outreach programs and disease surveillance initiatives within Mombasa County.
