Job Summary
As a Locum Pharmaceutical Technologist, you will ensure the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services within the organization. This role involves a variety of tasks related to medication management, patient education, and regulatory compliance within a telehealth framework. You will use your expertise to provide quality care remotely and support a digitally-driven healthcare model.
Duties & Responsibilities
Review and verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety.
Provide counseling to patients on the proper use of their medications.
Ensure strict compliance with all regulations governing telehealth pharmacy practice.
Participate in tele-pharmacy consultations and answer medication-related questions from patients and healthcare providers.
Collaborate with virtual patient care teams to provide integrated health services.
Implement protocols for the safe handling and dispensing of medications.
Monitor patients for adverse drug reactions and maintain accurate medication records.
Utilize telehealth platforms and digital tools to facilitate medication management and communication with patients.
Provide patient education on medication usage, adherence, and safety.

Qualifications & Requirements
A Diploma in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Licensure or registration as a Pharmaceutical Technologist as required by local regulations.
A minimum of 3 years of experience with strong knowledge in pharmacology, medication therapy, and pharmacy practice standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively educate and counsel patients.
Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and digital tools.
Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
