Job Summary

The Community Oral Health Officer will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to patients, from diagnosis to treatment. This role emphasizes patient education, preventive care, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Community Oral Health, a minimum of two years of relevant experience, and a valid practicing license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).

Key Focus Areas & Responsibilities

  • Patient Care: Diagnose, treat, and manage various dental conditions while ensuring the patient's comfort and safety throughout the process.

  • Preventive Oral Health: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, promote preventive measures, and assist in implementing community oral health programs.

  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work effectively with other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated, comprehensive care. Share knowledge and actively support the hospital's oral health initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma in Community Oral Health from a recognized institution.
