Job Summary
The Lab Technologist at Jumuia Friends Hospital Kaimosi will be responsible for performing a wide range of laboratory services, particularly in Hematology. This role requires a proficient and experienced professional who can ensure accurate testing, deliver excellent patient care, and work effectively within a team in a busy laboratory setting.
Key Responsibilities (Implied from Job Requirements)
- Perform a wide range of laboratory services, including but not limited to Hematology.
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of all laboratory tests.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Collect, process, and analyze patient specimens.
- Document and report laboratory results accurately and timely.
- Adhere to all safety and quality control protocols.
- Provide excellent patient care during specimen collection and interactions.

Job Requirements
- Diploma, Higher Diploma, or BSc in Medical Laboratory Science.
- Registered with the KMLTTB (Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a busy laboratory environment.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proficient in a wide range of laboratory services, including Hematology.
- Excellent patient care and strong teamwork skills.
