Qualifications
- Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Must be registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya and hold a valid practicing license.
- Must be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya.
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Must possess a strong knowledge of biochemical interaction of drugs.
- Must demonstrate excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently according to prescriptions.
- Providing drug information to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ensuring proper storage and handling of medications.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Monitoring drug interactions and adverse effects.
- Participating in medication management and safety initiatives.
- Supervising pharmacy technicians and other support staff (if applicable).
- Adhering to all relevant pharmacy laws and regulations.
