Job Summary
AIC Litein Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Medicine and Surgery Tutor to join their educational team. This role is essential for teaching, guiding, and evaluating students in clinical medicine and other relevant medical fields. The tutor will be responsible for developing teaching materials, mentoring students, facilitating research, assessing clinical skills, and participating in the overall planning and evaluation of the college's medical education programs.
Key Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach and evaluate clinical medicine and other medical field students in relevant topics.
- Plan, design, and develop relevant teaching materials to enhance student learning.
- Mentor, guide, and advise students in their learning journey and the development of professional behaviors.
- Assist learners to undertake research and surveys as assigned, fostering their investigative skills.
- Assess students in clinical areas, ensuring their practical competencies meet required standards.
- Organize extra-curricular activities within the College to promote holistic student development.
- Participate in any other activities related to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching and learning for Clinical Medicine students in the college.
Professional Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in Clinical Medicine or a Higher Diploma in Clinical Medicine.
- Registered with the Clinical Officers' Council (COC).
- Have a valid Practicing license issued by the COC.
- Proficiency in Computer Applications.
- Teaching experience of not less than two (2) years is preferred.
- Should be a Christian in good standing.
