Job Summary
The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning experiences. This role involves monitoring adherence to the curriculum, mentoring students, and participating in the development of departmental plans. The QA Manager will play a key role in maintaining and improving the educational standards of the college.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop teaching and learning materials.
- Ensure adherence to teaching requirements as per the curriculum.
- Teach and mentor students according to college procedures.
- Administer Continuous Assessments Tests.
- Set, administer, and mark examinations.
- Participate in the development and preparation of departmental development plans.
- Participate in administrative, academic, and consultancy activities within the department and other organizations.
- Assume responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Medicine and Surgery, or its equivalents.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Medicine and Surgery, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- A Diploma in Quality Management is an added advantage.
- Evidence of consistent Quality Assurance development skills through continued training in Internal Quality Assurance and Quality Management System fields.
- Must be ISO certified.
- Clear understanding of internal auditing processes.
- At least five (5) years of experience in the academic field, Quality Assurance, and quality management coordination.
- Evidence of in-depth and extensive knowledge of higher education quality assurance policies, processes, and issues for both face-to-face and online teaching and learning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Proven leadership skills with a record in promoting ethical scientific research and quality teaching/learning.
- Knowledge of management systems standards, guidelines, and quality assurance systems.
- Result-oriented, innovative, and able to work with minimum supervision.
- High moral standards and demonstrable professionalism.
