Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse Instructor will be responsible for providing quality clinical learning to students admitted to The Nairobi West Hospital College of Health Sciences (TNWHCHS). This role also involves offering counseling services to both learners and faculty staff, ensuring a supportive and enriching educational environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective clinical learning programs for nursing students.
  • Provide hands-on clinical instruction and supervision to students in various hospital settings.
  • Evaluate students' clinical performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Conduct regular assessments to ensure students meet learning objectives.
  • Offer counseling and support services to students and faculty staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and evaluations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance the learning experience.

Academic & Professional Qualifications

  1. KRN/KRCHN, KRCCN
  2. Valid Practicing License
  3. Valid BLS/ACLS Certification
  4. Minimum of FIVE (5) years Continuous Clinical experience, ONE (1) of which should be in ICU
  5. Strong Written and Verbal Communication
  6. Excellent Teamwork and Collaboration
  7. Ability to provide Counseling services to Students and Staff

  1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  2. Certified TOT in BLS and ACLS
  3. Experience in teaching and learning
